My Chronicle . . .
A Caregiver's Walk with Alzheimer's
Remember the Forgetting
Like most good things in life, memory is something we take for grantedâuntil we start to lose it. And watching memories slip away from someone you love is harder still. Since my wifeâs Alzheimerâs diagnosis, her memory has been evaporating. I canât reverse the losses, but Iâve decided to do the next best thing. Iâm going to keep a chronicle of this journey. Here, in this space, I want to remember the forgetting.

Your Story, Too
As I record my own conclusions and questions about our walk, Iâd like to hear yours, too. Some 6 million Americans are afflicted with Alzheimerâs disease, so I know so many others have stories like ours. Letâs encourage each other with what weâre deciding about the forgetting. Letâs share and compare our journeys.
The apostle Paul was a singer! No matter what he was facing or hardship he was enduring, he sang praises to God. With his songs he set an example for every Christian.
